Ysa Ferrer moved to France with her parents before her second birthday and grew up in Chambery in Savoie. She was a teen when she started to work for a local radio. She moved to Paris, and after a few auditions, she gained a part in the film "L.627", directed by Bertrand Tavernier. She also played the role of Nadia in the France 2 popular tv-series Seconde B (1992 - 1994). During this time span, Ferrer worked on music demos. After two seasons of Seconde B, she decided to focus on her singing career. Two albums were released with success at Universal Music France.
