Yuri Ono is an Oakland based artist that specializes in web and print design. She is one of the founders of the website Learning to Love You More - a collaborative art project that crowdsources the general public for a space to create art. Born Madeline Ono, but using her middle name instead, Yuri Ono attended the California College of the Arts from 1988-1992. She graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing and Printmaking. She was also interested in other aspects of the Arts, specifically Bookmaking, Film Studies, Feminist Studies and Baroque and Rococo Art History. After graduation, Yuri Ono worked in commercial photography for a couple years before becoming the Art Director at Mainsail Interactive from June of 2000-March of 2005. She also was the owner of Good Together, her own bag and accessory business. Her products were featured in Venus, Readymade, Bust and Lucky Magazines. During this time, she was also sole proprietor of M Y Ono Graphic Designs.
