He started his career in 1995 as session guitarist. In September 1999, he joined ucifer, a real life counterpart from a band with the same name in the anime Kaikan Phrase and was given the stage name YUKI, as he was taking the role of Yukifumi Todo, the guitarist of the band in the anime. The band went on to released music even after the anime has end until early 2003 when they decided to disband. In 2004, he formed DUSTAR-3, along with two former members of Sex Machineguns, Noisy and Himawari. In 2010, ucifer reunited and announced a tour in August and September which included 5 shows. In the same year, he joined Rayflower, a band started by Keiichi Miyako, the keyboardist of SOPHIA.
