It was an ultra-exclusive luxury roadster, intended to compete with the best of the 1970s motor industry. It used mechanicals from the XJ12, including the 5.3 L Jaguar V12 engine, and was styled like the Jaguar SS100. The J.72 was also offered with the 3.8 L and 4.2 L XK engines.

He was an undertaker, and elected to the Board of Aldermen in 1894. He served as president of that body from 1895 to 1897, except during his brief term as mayor. He was appointed the mayor pro tem after Henry S. Tyler died in office. King was thus the first Republican Mayor of the city.

An enlarged Panther Model 100, the 120 had a reputation for being less reliable with a tendency for rapid clutch wear, problematical roller bearings and heavy oil consumption. As competitors produced modern designs, Panther ran into trouble obtaining supplies of Burman gearboxes and Lucas Magdynos, so production ceased in 1966 and the company was wound up.

The Nacoochee Mound is a prehistoric earthen mound on the banks of the Chattahoochee River in White County, in the northeast part of the U.S. state of Georgia, at the junction of Georgia Highways 17 and 75. Folklore traditionally stated that Nacoochee was derived from a Cherokee word that means "evening star"; however, it is the anglicized version of the Cherokee version of the Muscogee word for "bear," nokose. In the Itsati (Hitchiti) language, nokose is pronounced, no-ko-she. It is in an area of long human habitation, and was important in the Woodland and Mississippian culture periods, from 100 BCE to about 1500 CE.

Her keel was laid down by the Portsmouth Navy Yard on 23 July 1936. She was launched on 24 August 1937, sponsored by Mrs. Stark, wife of Rear Admiral Harold R. Stark, Chief of the Bureau of Ordnance, and commissioned on 16 December 1937 with Lieutenant F. O. Johnson in command.

USS Snatch (ARS-27), well known as Scripps R/V Argo after conversion to scientific research, was a Diver-class rescue and salvage ship commissioned by the U.S. Navy during World War II and in service from 11 December 1944 through 23 December 1946. Her task was to come to the aid of stricken vessels. The ship is better known from her scientific research role as the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) research vessel R/V Argo. It is that name, apparently not formally recognized by Navy that maintained title to the vessel, found in the scientific literature and public releases about her wide ranging research voyages.
