Ventana Cave
High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Ventana Cave (O`odham: Nakaijegel) is an archaeological site in southern Arizona. It is located on the Tohono O`odham Indian Reservation. The cave was excavated by Emil Haury and Julian Hayden in 1941-42. The deepest artifacts from Ventana Cave were recovered from a layer of volcanic debris that also contained Pleistocene horse, Burden`s pronghorn, tapir, sloth, and other extinct and modern species. A projectile point from the volcanic debris layer was compared to the Folsom Tradition and later to the Clovis culture , but the assemblage was peculiar enough to warrant a separate name – the Ventana Complex. Radiocarbon dates from the volcanic debris layer indicated an age of about 11,300 BP.

The Bhatti clan founded the cities of Batinda and Jaisalmir, among others. The exact date of Rai Bular`s birth is not known but records kept by bards date it c. 1425, in the city of Talwandi. This city, which is situated about 42 miles (68 km) west of Lahore and 18 miles (29 km) south of the river Ravi, later became known as Nankana Sahib. Rai Bular’s father, Rai Bhoe Bhatti, was the owner of over 100,000 acres (400 km2) of land with Talwandi as its center of commerce; Talwandi thus also came to be known as Rai Bhoe Di Talwandi (Rai Bhoe’s Talwandi).
