He was also a recipient of the Knight`s Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight`s Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Walther von Axthelm was captured in 1945 by American troops and was held until 1947.

She was the daughter of Pharaoh Amenemhat III. Manetho states she also was the sister of Amenemhat IV, but this claim is unproven. Sobekneferu had an older sister named Nefruptah who may have been the intended heir. Neferuptah`s name was enclosed in a cartouche and she had her own pyramid at Hawara. Neferuptah died at an early age however.

It was part of his programme to create a chain of coastal defences along England`s coast known as the Device Forts or as Henrician Castles.
