It was first announced by TechCrunch on March 6, 2009. The software doesn`t require an Internet connection to search the Wiki. As of April 2010, WikiPock is available for the following mobile platforms: Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Android and Symbian OS. WikiPock exists in 25 languages, each with full text and no image. English Wikipedia takes around 3.5GB (less for the other languages). Software can be delivered on preloaded microSDHC memory cards or can be downloaded from the Internet. Pacaya is an active complex volcano in Guatemala, which first erupted approximately 23,000 years ago and has erupted at least 23 times since the Spanish conquest of Guatemala. Pacaya rises to an elevation of 2,552 metres (8,373 ft). After being dormant for a century, it erupted violently in 1965 and has been erupting continuously since then. Much of its activity is Strombolian, but occasional Plinian eruptions also occur, sometimes showering the any of the nearby Departments with ash.
